Saddles Burger Shop owner Cecil Grobbelaar said district bakers were struggling to meet his daily demand for buns.
“There is a good market for a different style burger in Stawell,” he said.
“We offer country style burgers showcasing the fine local ingredients and highlighting homemade food and sauces.”
Mr Grobbelaar also said the new business employed seven new workers which helped to bolster Stawell’s struggling job market.
“We were happy to offer new jobs, especially after the recent job losses in the town and in the future we want to expand the business by doing deliveries and weekend catering,” he said.
