The celebration was due to Concongella Primary School's 140th anniversary and saw several former students attend to watch as current students played games from the late 1800s.
Games including marbles and various sideshow alley games kept the youngsters entertained while an olden day fair was also conducted throughout the afternoon.
There were also cake stalls, an art gallery and much more, as the Concongella Primary School community was thrust into celebration mode.
The celebrations continued into the evening, with a dinner provided and this was followed by an old fashioned bush dance from 7pm to 9pm.
The school was delighted with the attendance of former students and parents throughout the celebrations in the afternoon and youngsters enjoyed the opportunity to sit in the sun as they played marbles and took part in the alley games.
