More than 100 former students have registered for the reunion and organisers are expecting more to register their attendance leading up to Saturday, as many people have made contact seeking information about the reunion activities.
Former students are also able to register from 10.30am on Saturday at the Stawell Secondary College.
Organisers are hopeful most former students will register prior to Saturday to assist with catering arrangements.
Reunion committee member Graeme Anyon said the committee was hopeful that former students who live locally would not wait until Saturday to register and would register this week.
"It is no essential for former students to attend the full day long reunion. Those with sporting and other committments can still come along before or after their committments to renew acquaintances with old friends," he said.
Saturday's reunion will open at 10.30am with registrations.
This will be followed by tours of the Stawell Secondary College, while tours of the former Stawell Tech building, now the Patrick Street Family Practice, will be conducted from 10.30am until 12.30pm.
A roll call for all former students who have registered will be held at 1.30pm.
The official opening of the new Stawell Secondary College Language Centre will be conducted at 2.30pm and this will be followed by afternoon tea in the new centre.
A `happy hour' will be held in the Stawell Secondary College assembly hall from 4.30pm until 5.30pm.
