It is the second time the Grampians Brushes artists workshop program has run, this time running over six day late last month in Halls Gap.
With 13 leading Australian tutors offering high quality tuition in 25 workshops covering many mediums including oils, pastel, watercolour, mixed media, various print making, life drawing botanical budding young artist received plenty of advice and inspiration.
Students enrolled from most states around Australia, such was the prestige of the event.
The public also had the opportunity to head along and see the wonderful work produced by the students at an open classroom, which was well attended.
Some of the highlights of the Grampians Brushes week included three special exhibitions from renowned artists - Lyn Martin's 'Country Living' at MOCO Gallery, Grant Thomas' 'Tracks in the Gap' at the Gap Winery and Sara Bower's 'Grampians: Above and Below' at the Kookaburra.
Grampians Brushes is a project of GrampianArts, a not for profit organisation that strives to provide opportunities for artists to extend their skills and showcase their work.
The week-long event was supported by Halls Gap Tourism and the Northern Grampians Shire Council.
