Throughout the month of June, the college continued selling Red Nose Day merchandise to help raise money for SIDS and Kids.
SIDS and Kids is dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood and supporting bereaved families.
SIDS and Kids are a not-for-profit organisation that was created in 1977 to support families who had experienced the death of a baby from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Over the years their services have been broadened beyond SIDS to support all families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or child regardless of the cause.
SIDS and Kids have a successful history in delivering a safe sleeping health promotion program for babies that has been largely responsible for an 80% reduction in sudden infant deaths in Australia.
While the campaign runs for June, members of the community are still being encouraged to continue their support for the SIDS and Kids campaign by donating to the cause.
