This follows earlier funding of a similar system to Stawell Primary School.
Lions Club president, Scot Fletcher and treasurer, Robert Kelly attended the college to present the $1800 funding to college principal, Colin Axup.
At the presentation Mr Axup explained that the system allows students with hearing difficulties to tune their hearing aids into the system and therefore be able to fully participate in lessons.
The system is portable and can be moved from class to class.
The system also provides amplified lessons to the rest of the class. This has a benefit to other students including those with poor, but not profound hearing problems and to students with learning difficulties and ADHD.
Lions Club treasurer, Robert Kelly emphasised that it is the Stawell and district community through their support of Lions Club functions such as the Easter Carnival, that enables the club to fund purchases such as the sound field system.
The Australian Lions Foundation also made a generous contribution of $900 towards the system.
