Community members who attended an information session last Wednesday night remain hopeful that a Bendigo Bank branch could still be launched in Stawell.
Despite only a handful of residents showing their support for the concept at Wednesday night's meeting, Northern Grampians Shire Mayor, Cr Kevin Erwin, said the door was by no means closed.

- More than thirty representatives from organisations in Stawell attended a breakfast at Lillies and Lattes during National Volunteer Week.
The event celebrated the benefits of volunteers and was organised by a working group of staff from Stawell Regional Health, Grampians Community Health and Northern Grampians Shire Council. The breakfast also featured a presentation from the chief executive officer of Volunteering Western Victoria, Julie Pettett.
