The school decided to take part in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea event to help raise money for cancer research.
Hosted by the Parents Club, the morning tea received overwhelming support and saw everyone at the school involved.
Students were encouraged to bring along a gold coin donation and in return they received a cup of cordial and some fresh fruit, kindly donated by Woolworths Stawell.
As a result of the success of the Biggest Morning Tea at Stawell Primary School, the Parents Club was able to raise a total of $279.50 to support the Cancer Council in its efforts to find a cure for cancer.
