Partly cloudy. Patchy morning fog then a dry day. Patchy rain in the northwest towards midnight. Winds east to northeasterly and light increasing to 15 to 20 km/h in the early afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 6 and 9 with daytime temperatures reaching around 18.

- Stawell's May rainfall total received a boost earlier this week, when more than ten millimetres of rain was recorded.

Some heavy downpours were experienced in the region during the early hours of Tuesday morning, dumping a total of 9.8mm (40 points), before a further 3.4mm fell during the day and into the evening.

- Jason Wilksch will board a plane to Oklahoma City in late July as he embarks on a new life as a college footballer.

Great Western born and raised, Wilksch has been granted a soccer scholarship to South West Christian College in Bethany, Oklahoma, where he intends to further his studies and play the sport he loves.
