Iron and Clay will be performing in Stawell on Tuesday, March 27, at the Stawell Entertainment Centre.
Who are Iron and Clay you may ask? They are a Rock, R&B, Acappella Dance group from Sydney. They are simply one of the smoothest, vocally tight, funkiest touring bands you will ever see.
Iron and Clay are the breeding band for some of the best talent this country has seen in recent years, including Matt Corby, Jarryd Clapper (Australian Idol) Rebecca Laboney (Australian Idol) and Shahde Carrasco also an Aussie Idol.
There is no Pussycat Doll 'sex me up' stuff with these young performers. Words like wicked, sick and you guys rock are very common exclamations for the hip, hot and happening band from the Hunter Valley. Why, because the Y generation just love them.
They lead young people to soul search and life changing decisions with their positive message of love, life and self-respect.
Gaz and Shaz from 'Elevate' run an activities program during lunchtimes at Stawell Secondary College and were successful in reeling Iron and Clay in. The college will get a taste of their amazing talent on Monday, March 26.
"This is what the young people of Stawell need to hear and follow," Shaz said.
"Iron and Clay not only belt out a good moral and positive message but the band also 'live' out what they sing in their own individual lives. That's pretty important if you are to be a role model."
What's even more exciting is that 'Elevate' has announced this is a Community Free event, so don't miss out seeing this cutting edge band Iron and Clay, with their one only performance held at the Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, March 27 from 7.30pm.
