Special Comment:
Newcomer Sam Harris had the round of his career to rack up 49 points in Saturday’s Stableford event. High fives all around for the victory which came at a cost of 17 strokes from his handicap. Ruthless! Sam obviously hasn’t been around to wash the handicapper’s car for some time and has paid for it. Maybe a cut and polish down at the yard might do the trick. One of Chalambar’s senior golfers had a horror rounds with more slices than Methuselah’s birthday cake. Sundays Par Three Day proved very successful with 95 players taking to the field. Champion golfer Chris Young aced his first hole in one in a long and impressive career. He has given hope to us hacks who at this stage only dream of the ultimate quest in golf.
