Precautions urged as sixth bird flu case confirmed
AUSTRALIA’S sixth bird flu case has been confirmed as the nation's top veterinarian issued advice to keep free-range hens housed, where practical. Poultry farmers have been advised to keep free-range hens inside temporarily as authorities respond to an emerging bird flu threat.

Authorities are responding to more cases of bird flu in Australia, but say there's no need to panic.
