Mamma Mia tickets now on sale
ARARAT Regional Theatre Society is excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for its 2025 production of the smash hit musical Mamma Mia!

With the biggest cast seen in recent history, more than 75 people have been working hard on stage at rehearsals since February, while the unseen heroes of the production have been putting together sets, props, costumes and pulling together the numerous other aspects of the production that go on behind the scenes, bringing the total participation to well over 100 volunteers.
The production is being directed by Emily ‘Freddy’ Friedrichsen with musical direction by Leanne McCready.
Ms Friedrichsen said she was proud of the cast and the work they were doing to bring Mamma Mia! to life.
“We have such a huge cast of adults and children, but they are all working so hard and the story, humour, fabulous music and choreography are all now coming to life,” Ms Friedrichsen said.
“Our equally talented production crew are putting in hundreds of hours of work behind the scenes building a phenomenal set and putting together costumes and props to bring the Mamma Mia! Greek island paradise to life.”
The cast includes Maree Fraser (as Donna Sheridan), Imogene Tonks (Sophie Sheridan), Russell Purdie (Sam Carmichael), Ian McCready (Bill Austin), Scott Rigby (Harry Bright), Daniel McCready (Sky), Jodie Holwell (Tanya Chesham-Leigh), Faye Johns (Rosie Mulligan), Zyggie Fraser (Lisa), Abbey Rigby (Ali), Harry Fulford (Pepper), Evee Cosgriff (Eddie), Karinda Atkins (priest), Jo Rigby (Yiayia).
ABBA’s timeless and hugely popular hits tell the hilarious story of Sophie’s quest to discover the identity of her father on the eve of her wedding, and brings three men (Sam, Bill and Harry), from her mother Donna’s past, back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.
The story telling magic of ABBA’s songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. Non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make Mamma Mia! the best night out you’ll have all year.
Mamma Mia! will be staged at the Ararat Town Hall over three weekends in 2025: June 20-22, 27-29 and July 4-5 (eight performances).
Tickets are available from ararattownhall.com.au, by calling 1800 657 158, or through the Ararat and Grampians Visitor Information Centre adjacent to the Ararat Gallery.
