Lest We Forget, Ararat remembers the fallen

LOCALS gathered at Ararat’s Cenotaph on Saturday to commemorate ANZAC Day, paying tribute to the men and women who have served and sacrificed for Australia. Around 500 people attended the dawn service, with a further 700 turning out for the morning service, as close to 100 former service members and their relatives marched down Barkly street in honour of the fallen, highlighting the community’s continued commitment to honouring the nation’s servicemen and women.
