Job Description

This integral role as part of a small team will see you responsible for some of the following tasks;

• Deliver procurement activities such as spend analysis, market research and strategy implementation
• Collaborate with the internal business units to identify procurement and contract requirements
• Identify and implement category management strategies, sourcing activities and contract execution
• Analyse purchasing bids, proposals and evaluations
• Lead various contract negotiations and award of supplier agreements
• Collate and analyse data for reporting and planning purposes

Furthermore, you will play an important role in ongoing process improvement delivery across the procurement and contracts portfolio.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be an experienced procurement professional with exposure to the end to end process including sourcing through to contract execution. You will have an analytical aptitude with the ability to use data to drive commercial outcomes. Candidates with exposure to procurement in the building and construction sector will be looked upon favourably.
