Chef

We currently have a vacancy for a Resident Chef to join the Morrison Living team here at Compass as a Resident Chef based in Cessnock NSW to work with us in our Aged Care sector. This opportunity will see you conducting lifestyle activities with the residents by way of cooking daily!

A bit about you

• You will be passionate qualified Chef 
• Desirably have previous experience in a similar role or as a Chef, the desire and dedication to work in the Senior living healthcare sector.
• A good understanding of HACCP and food handling experience
• Excellent knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dedicated team
• Attention to detail and great time management is a must
• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be triple COVID Vaccinated 
• Must be 2022 Influenza Vaccinated
• Have a current Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one. 

 Key Duties include

• Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
• Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating as well as allergens and dietary requirements
• Ensure all OH&S compliance is achieved, and wastage is kept to a minimum

• Deliver service that comes from the heart and served with a smile
