Greenfingers in Full Bloom for 2026
STAWELL’s Greenfingers nursery is gearing up for a big month with Valentine's Day just over four weeks away. In 2026, Greenfingers will still continue their pop-up stores at Shop 108 in the Main Street, with the first on February 12, just two days before Valentine's Day. Nursery manager, Chris Sirre, said there will be a lot of options available and highlighted the importance of the pop-up store.
“There will be lots of gifts available, like giftware and plants,” he said.
“The pop-up store is great for the community, especially for the elderly who might not have a car, or can’t get out here, they can at least make it to the main street.”
Greenfingers works closely with Pinnacle and other organisations to employ people with a disability, which Mr Sirre said was very important.
“We have approximately ten people working for us, with some working three or five days depending on their disability plans,” he said.
“We usually take about three or four to the pop-up store, as it’s good for them to interact with the public. They help customers and do various roles at the nursery, from looking after the plants to helping customers bring plants to their cars.”
Some months, there will be two days the pop-up store operates and other months there will be one. The next one after February will be in March for one day.
