Crowds strong for Avoca commemoration
ORGANISERS of Avoca’s annual Anzac Day commemoration were pleased with strong attendance at both the dawn and morning services. About 200 people gathered at the Avoca War Memorial at dawn to honour those who served, before sharing breakfast hosted by the Avoca CWA. Later, around 150 people attended the main service, including veterans, families and local school children.
