At the park at the site of the old service station along Main Street, the Lions Club have placed a seat in the garden, alongside Fred Crouch & Sons funeral services.
A plaque has been placed on the seat which reads; "this seat was provided by the Stawell Lions Club to recognise the long service given by Don Webb to the town of Stawell as a councillor, mayor, and proud Lion".
Mr Webb passed away in late November 2014, and was remembered as "a true civic leader" by Northern Grampians Shire Council Mayor Murray Emerson.
"He will be remembered for his energy, dedication, compassion and love for this community," he said.
