On Monday the Association announced their executive committee will be working through the state government's roadmap and what that means for return to cricket.
They were to hold meetings in the week of September 20 to discuss options.
In an announcement to social media, the league said the initial proposed date for the start of the season will not be going ahead.
"At this stage it does not look like we will be able to start the season until at least November 6," they said.

"For the moment the Junior AGM has been postponed at least a week.
"Teams are able to start training if they wish with only the minimum number required to be there for training and no spectators."
As at September 23, community sport teams may only train and only at outdoors facilities.
The 10 person group limit does not apply to sports teams as long as the training sessions are only attended by the minimum possible number of players and coaching staff.
Spectators are not allowed, except to supervise children (one adult per child or sibling group only).
Participants from metropolitan Melbourne (and City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire and Mitchell Shire) are not permitted.
Masks must be worn indoors and outdoors, however you do not need to wear a mask when doing strenuous exercise.
