In Stawell the MacPherson's had to get creative, with seven-year-old Archie getting the sheep shearing clippers out to look like one of his favourite footballers.
Archie was already rocking the mullet hairstyle, but as he was unable to get to the hairdresser, his father Staw MacPherson lent a helping hand.
Archie, a passionate Western Bulldogs fans, said he was inspired to follow in the footsteps of one of his favourite players, Aaron Naughton.
"I just wanted to be like Aaron Naughton and look like a good footballer, that's all," he said.
"We just used Dad's clippers and I had a mullet before.

"During lockdown I couldn't get there for a haircut so Dad gave it a bit of a touch up
"I said when I was doing his we might as well get the sheep on as well so the next day we did it too."
Now there are two Aaron Naughton-style haircuts on the MacPherson property.
The eye-catching haircuts also proved popular on social media, with 7AFL sharing the picture across their social media and on their post-game show.
Archie was on edge on Saturday as he watched his Bulldogs score a nail-biting win over the Brisbane Lions in their AFL semi-final clash.
"I was shaking," Archie said as he watched his Bulldogs score a one-point win.

"I don't know what I was thinking. I was just staring at the game not blinking.
"I was so nervous when I was watching."
And after the nailbiting win, Archie watched as his hero helped guide the Western Bulldogs to a 71-point win over Port Adelaide in the preliminary final.
Archie will be nervously watching as the Western Bulldogs aim for their second premiership in five seasons, when they face Melbourne at Optus Stadium in Perth at 7:15pm on Saturday night.
