I first joined the Warriors when they were a part of the Ararat and District league in 1993 and then merged with Stawell FNC in 1999.
What do you love most about being involved with the Warriors?
I have been involved in volunteering roles all the way from the start basically.
I have either always coached or umpired, or been involved with the club is some kind of a role.
Why do you support and volunteer for your club?
The people keep you here. You meet a lot of friends along the way and I'm talking friends of all different age groups because I have been here a while.
I have ended up playing with people twenty-something years younger than you.
They are the friendships you take through life, so it is the people that keep you here.

What is your number one highlight in your time with the club?
When we were in the Ararat and District we won three premierships in a row in A Grade. We won in 1995, 1996 and 1997, so that was awesome.
I won a premiership here with my daughter in the same team, in the B Grade team. That was lovely.
But my highlights are being involved with the team and riding the rollercoaster of the season each year.
Who is the player from your club you've most enjoyed watching?
I have a few! I like watching Jade Cross, Jemma Clarkson and we have some really awesome young talent like Maddi Taylor.
To see her development and the hard work she has put in is really paying off.
Lisa Fleming is another one who is blooming and finding her feet this year. I got to play with her and coach her and when you have that sort of involvement with people, I just love watching them play.
