The Wildcats have confirmed they will not be entering a senior men's and a women's team into the 2021-22 CBL season.
The association held their annual general meeting in early August where they confirmed the decision and announced their committee.
Forming the executive committee, Aiden Lee will remain as president, Joel Freeland will act as vice-president, while Amy Yole will be secretary and Emma Bourke will be the treasurer.
Carla Thomas will fulfill the junior coordinator role.
Lee said the association had made the tough CBL decision, with an eye towards the 2022-23 season.

"Unfortunately due to a lack of volunteers we have made the difficult decision not to enter a team in the CBL for men's or women's this season, but again hope to build up our following and aim for 2022-23," he said.
"We didn't have enough interest through the coaching side of things.
"At the current time we made the decision to not go with it this season, but to prepare ready for next season and build things up and get it right instead of just rushing through."
OTHER NEWS:
As part of that preparation, Lee said they would be running another Wildcubs season as they focus on their junior development.
"The club are excited to run another Wildcubs season at the commencement of 2022," he said.
"They will be the ones we are focusing on to get the interest going around the club and get the senior players involved and hopefully that'll spark some interest and we can get our senior CBL team back on the court again.
"We need all the help we can get and you can never have too many people putting their hands up to give you a hand. The more hands on deck the better, that's for sure."
The association thanked outgoing committee members Eleisha Clementson, Jess Dunn, Alastair Baird, Matthew Tober and Troy Kenny.
