Due to the unfortunate events of 2020 any potential event was cancelled, but if circumstances will allow it, organisers are hoping for a successful 2021 show.

The show is scheduled for Monday August 16 from 10am-4pm at the Marnoo Recreation Reserve with no entry free for all.

Marnoo Stud Merino Breeders Association president Trent Carter said 32 Victorian Merino Studs will be on display, with prizes, food and drinks all part of the festivities.

Mr Carter said the 2019 event was a "tremendous" event, with hundreds travelling to the region for the day.

"We had 500-700 people two years ago," he said.

"People said they had never seen so many cars down the main street of Marnoo

"We were over the moon. Every stud breeder said it was a tremendous event."

"We certainly gained a lot of momentum after our inaugural year two years ago, and so this year who knows.

"We would like to think we can get 300-400 people. We will have every major stud producer from the western side of the state."

Mr Carter said the idea for the event came as the Merino industry looked gather together.

"In the '80s and '90s all the Marnoo groups used to combine at the oval and have a big vendor field days sale on the one day," he said.

"Over the last few decades everyone has drifted off to their own properties.

"We just thought as a merino industry we need to start working together as a whole.

"It is a good networking day, giving every one to see and talk without all the sideshows and haze of a big event."
