Conditions were great for fishing, with Lake Fyans producing plenty for all members in attendance.
Despite the bigger redfin failing going quiet, a total of 70 fish (64 redfin, six trout) were caught across Saturday and Sunday.
Doug Collins took top honours with 14 redfin measuring 387 centimetres from Paul Whelan’s 10 redfin at 281cm.
Gavin Keilor had a good weekend with his eight ‘reddies’ at 226cm.
The junior section was hotly contested with Blake Davidson reeling in five redfin measuring 115cm to claim victory over brother Ryder, also with five fish at 107.5cm.
Wilson Dowsett landed two redfin for third with his biggest a prime reddie at 43cm.
Damien Keirl took out the award for the longest fish with a brown trout measuring 57.5cm.
The final competition of the season will be held at Lake Fyans on Queen’s Birthday weekend beginning from 7am Saturday until 10am Monday, with final weigh-in is at 10.15am.
