The Rats continued to make their mark in the Wimmera Football League while Stawell claimed a comprehensive win over Dimboola.

The southern-most teams in the Wimmera Netball Association struggled this weekend, with both the Rats and Warriors suffering losses.

It was a tough weekend for the Baggies, with the club’s senior football side blown off the park by Kalkee while the A Grade netball team was more competitive despite also losing. 

Navarre bounced back to form both on the footy field and netball court, claiming crucial wins over Maldon in both the senior football and A Grade netball divisions.

And Wickliffe-Lake Bolac continued its domination in the Mininera football league, dealing Great Western its first 100-point loss of the season.

The Magpies were also dominant over the Lions on the netball court.
