The design by Maddie Carracher, 10, won a contest to have her singlet design showcased during the race.
The design features women running through a lush, green park under a bright blue sky.
Runners in the Australia Post Women’s Gift final will don Maddie’s design as they look to take out the top spot in one of the country’s most prestigious races.
Maddie wins a family pass, a race singlet of her design to keep, a $500 Load&Go card for herself, and six $500 Load&Go vouchers worth $3000 for her school or community organisation.
“To win at Stawell would be so special to me,” Kate Jones, who goes into the race as one of the favourites, said.
“My late grandpa used to watch the Stawell Gift before I was born. Pa used to love it as much as I do.”
The Australia Post Women’s Gift final is on Easter Monday, April 2 at Central Park in Stawell.
