A full-scale ice skating rink will be set up on the vacant land next to the Stawell Town Hall from March 31 until April 16, offering the perfect cure for school holiday boredom.
Northern Grampians Shire mayor Tony Driscoll said the rink would provide a welcomed boost to Main Street business owners.
“This is expected to provide an influx of not only Stawell residents visiting the CBD, not only to use the skating rink, but also to explore all that’s on offer in Stawell,” Cr Driscoll said.
Ice skating sessions will be held on the hour every hour between 10am and 4pm, while it will also be open between 7pm and 8pm Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. To book, visit the rink 15 minutes ahead of time, call 0421 788 605 or email manager@wintermagiciceskating.com.au.
