The draw sees each team playing 10 of the 11 opponents, missing out on playing just one team in the 10 round season. Stawell miss out on playing Port Fairy.
AFL Wimmera-Mallee football development manager Jason Muldoon said he is pleased with the way the draw panned out.
“We tried to make it as fair as we possibly could,” he said.
“I think with the introduction of four new teams it was a little bit tricky to make it even but we are happy with it overall.”
One of the most interesting features is the introduction of and intra-league match in June, which will see the best players from the league’s northern sides take on the best from the south.
“It should be a good opportunity for the girls who want to step up to the next level,” Muldoon said.
