Car t-bones petrol tanker, fuel spills onto Seaby Street

About 50 metres worth of diesel fuel spilled onto Seaby Street after a car crashed head-on into the side of a fuel tanker on Monday about 3pm.

Stawell Sergeant Bill Alford said the driver of the petrol tanker would receive a ticket after failing to give way at the corner of Cooper and Seaby streets.

The fuel spill was covered with sand provided by VicRoads.

No one was hurt in the incident.
