Buangor A Grade captain Chris Jerram will travel to Bendigo in February to compete for the Victorian country under-21 cricket team.

The team will play against the Victorian metropolitan under-21 side at Bendigo’s Queen Elizabeth Oval on Sunday, February 11. Jerram said it is and “honour” to be selected in the team. “It was an unbelievable feeling when I found out,” he said.
“I have never played at that high of a level of cricket before – it is a great privilege to be given an opportunity.”
The all-rounder has had an excellent season so far, being selected in multiple representative teams.
In November last year he represented the Central Highlands region in the Victorian Country Cricket League under-21 competition where he top-scored in the two matches, accumulating 97 runs including a top score of 59 not out.
Most recently he played a crucial part in Grampians Cricket Association’s division three Bendigo country week win where he hit 100 runs and picked up 13 wickets to be named bowler of the tournament.
