Stawell Toyota’s slow start cost them, as Frewstal took the advantage to lead by 20 games before the main tea break.
Frewstal continued their dominance after the break, winning the next five sets 8-3, 8-2, 8-1, 8-5, and 8-1.
Blair Hart was a standout for Toyota but his efforts were not enough as Frewstal proved why they were favorites and closed out the match 15 sets to 8.
Paul Summers won player of the final with his round of 8-2, 8-1 and 8-3 and he was well assisted by teammates Molly Orr, Angus Williams and Zayne Hall.
In the consolation final, Farrers Tyrepower finished on a good note, recording a 36-game win over David O Jones Mitre 10.
Friday night tennis will resume at the start of February, with a new ‘short and sharp’ summer competition with entries now open. The Wednesday night grand final will be played tomorrow.
