Terry and Karina O’Sullivan ended a 39-race winning drought at Hamilton last week.

Saddle Up stormed home to win the Best Western Hamilton Lakeside Motel BM58 Handicap on Monday, November 27.

The seven-year-old gelding won by nearly two lengths to claim the $10,800 in prize-money.

It was just the second win in a 26-race career for Saddle Up.

The father-daughter training pair had not had a winner since September 28.

The win also ends a 30-race drought for apprentice jockey Jessica Eaton, who last won on November 7.

The winning drought has damaged Eaton’s standings in the jockey premiership rankings.

She now sits at 44th for the whole state and 32nd in country Victoria.
