Update: 3.20pm
A man, 60, was winched from the top of the Pinnacle track at the Grampians after falling and injuring his shoulder and ankle.
Stawell State Emergency Service and Ambulance Victoria responded to the incident about 12.10pm.
Stawell SES duty officer Jenny Rooke said it would have been a huge task to carry the man out from the top of one of the Grampians’ most challenging hiking trails.
“Luckily the helicopter came and he can get treatment,” she said.
