Shannon Reddie and Craig Wilson each made scores in the 40s but it was 76 runs by Hamish Gawith which really set the side up.
Bullants bowler Jordan McDonald, 4-57, had the Lubeck-Murtoa side in early trouble after he claimed the wickets of Graeme Reddie and Chris Chenoweth.
Shannon and Wilson counterattacked before Gawith came in later in the innings to capitalise on the foundations the pair laid.
Gawith was eventually dismissed off the bowling of Simon McKenry as he looked for quick runs at the end of the innings. A fighting 21 by Lachlan Patching helped the side reach 237 before being bowled out.
The Dudley Cornell turf wicket was unplayable meaning that Colts and Jung Tigers will play a replacement one-day fixture.
