Stawell Sergeant Bill Alford said the woman left her vehicle on neutral, causing the car to roll on Wednesday afternoon.
There were no injuries and minimal damage to the house struck.
“She had been out shopping and returned home, parked her car thinking she had done the right thing, but unfortunately she had left it on neutral,” Sergeant Alford said.
“Luckily it missed a parked car and that there was no one walking on the footpath nearby.”
