Youth Club won its return game to A Grade over Tatyoon and will look to carry the momentum into Saturday’s one-day match against Pomonal.
“We will go into this weekend the same as last weekend – we want to enjoy our cricket,” Youth Club captain Cam Kimber said.
“The feeling in the group is pretty good at the moment.”
Youth Club will welcome back Ethan Marrow and Jarrod Illig into the A Grade team for the clash.
Kimber said he is happy his side gets another chance to play a one-day game.
“The one-day game probably does help us a bit,” he said.

“I’m not sure if we are suited to them but we do seem to play well in them.
“We have a few batters who strike the ball pretty well and our bowlers bowl nice tight lines.”
Pomonal are also coming off a victory after easily accounting for Halls Gap.
Kimber said he expects a tough contest against Pomonal.
“We know it won’t be easy and expect another tough game.
“We are pretty happy to have gotten a win the board to get the season off well.”
