HORSHAM Newsagency is this year’s Paint the Town Purple winner.

Businesses featured purple decorations in their shop fronts this week to launch the 2017 Horsham and District Relay For Life.

The newsagency, which recently moved to a new location, decorated their window with balloons, streamers and even cupcakes.

Newsagency’s Di Richards said the store had entered Paint the Town Purple once before, but their new building gave them more scope to decorate. “We wanted to get into the spirit of things,” she said.

“We didn’t expect to win – it was wonderful to just be part of it.”

Relay For Life chairmanager Kingsley Dalgleish said there was lots of excellent displays in the city this year.
