Service awards were given out to members notching up between five and 30 years of service.
Life memberships were awarded to Wayne Hartwich, Ray Pilmore and Robert Sprake who have all been members of Dimboola Fire Brigade for 30 years.
Bronwyn Hastings was awarded a Brigade Appreciation Certificate for her long standing secretarial service to the brigade.
Former captain Simon Hastings handed over the reigns to new captain Ashley Wallace.
Mr Hastings said that it made sense to hand over the captaincy after he moved to Horsham.
Mr Wallace said the dinner was a great evening.
He said he felt privileged to accept the challenging new role of captain.
“It’s going to be a great opportunity and one I feel honoured to accept,” he said.
“The dinner had a great turnout.
“It was pretty impressive to see several members of our small brigade receive life memberships.
“This really demonstrates their dedication to not only the Country Fire Authority but also our community.”
