Kristy Matthews’ standout season was recognised on Saturday night, winning Stawell’s B Grade netball best and fairest.
Matthews polled 52 votes throughout the season, nearly double the amount of Courtney McIlvride who was the runner-up with 30 votes.
Matthews was best on court 11 times during the year. Kirby Griffiths and Sarah Morris shared the coach’s award.
The B Grade Warriors had a solid season, finishing fifth and losing their elimination final by just one-goal.
