Both Davies and McInnes finished in the top five of their respective groups in the South West Regional Championships to advance to the state championships to be held at Waverley in October.
The girls will have the chance to qualify for the level five junior Victorian championships.
Stawell Gymnastics Club head coach Elissa Chalmers said it was a very exciting day to have the two girls progress to the qualifiers.
“We are pretty happy as a club and the girls are also pretty happy to go through,” she said.
Chalmers said the repechage in Waverley will be the highest level of gymnastics the girls have experienced.
“This will be their first time around at that level,” she said.
“If they pull out their best gymnastics they can definitely go through.”
The girls will compete at the Waverley Gymnastics Centre from Saturday, October 7 to Sunday, October 8 in the combined junior regional championships.
