The 20-year-old was out of contract at the end of the season and said he was excited to continue his development at the club. “I’m very happy to sign on for two more years and I’m looking forward to seeing what it brings,” he said. “We have an exciting young list. I can’t wait to put another two years on the board with Fremantle.”
Tucker has played 30 games in his first two seasons at the club with one round remaining in the 2017 home and away season.
“To get opportunities in my first year and to continue to play this year has been great,” he said. “I feel as though that I’m improving my game as time goes on. I’ve absolutely loved it, it’s every kids dream to play AFL and I’ve been able to do that.”
Fremantle’s general manager of list management Brad Lloyd said Tucker is a talented player with great character. “He’s really applied himself since he walked through the doors,” he said.
