Players ranged from as young as 16 up to 56 years old.
Game one saw Ricksteel Fabrications defeat D.A.M Farming in a close contest, with Ricksteel coming away with a 24-18 win.
Ricksteel took a slender two-point lead into the half time break but consolidated their lead after the break to score 14-10 in the second half.
Theresa Henley stepped up for the winning team to score six points in the second half.
Emily Davis started off her season with a game high individual 12 points.
Ricksteel had a spread of scorers, with three playing shooting six points.
Sneek-A-Peek and Foster’s Mens and Ladies Wear resulted in a draw in game two, both teams scoring 34 points.
In a high-scoring affair, Sneek-A-Peek tracked down a two-point half-time deficit to level the game.
Hope Hawkins and Brooke McKenzie scored 14 points each for Sneek-A-Peek and Foster’s respectively.
McKenzie scored eight points in the second half for Foster’s to draw the game level.
Hayley Young also had double digit points, scoring 10 points for Sneek-A-Peek.
There were 10 individual scorers across both teams.
No fouls were called during the matches and the games were played in good spirits.
Players will be notified of games before next Monday’s matches.
