The six person team claimed seven gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the two day event.
Winning a gold medal also makes the winner the national champion of that event.
Teams from across Australia and New Zealand competed in the competition.
The team from Bai Rui Taekwondo topped the medal tally with 43 medals, including 19 gold.
Liam Farrell was a standout for the Stawell team, claiming three gold medals.
Stawell instructor and competitor Corinne Leahy said the club had an outstanding tournament.
“It was our best weekend yet. To finish fourth and win seven gold medals with just six competitors is fantastic,” she said.
“I was so nervous watching them, but they did so well.”
Stawell’s taekwondo future is bright, with classes in Stawell currently at capacity.
“I will be starting a class in Pomonal on Monday nights to provide another opportunity for those that have not been able to book in at Stawell,” Leahy said.
“It is crazy to have so many people wanting to get involved in taekwondo.”
