It was another tough day for Stawell’s A Grade netballers on the weekend, going down by 45 goals to the Warrack Eagles.

Warrack blew the Warriors away from the beginning, scoring 17-3 to set the tone for a tough day for the visitors.

Stawell began to attack better in the second term, scoring seven goals. Warrack still scored freely, managing 16 goals.

The domination continued in the second half, as the Eagles scored 19 goals to six to top off their massive win.

Ebony Summers proved valuable once again in attack for Stawell, shooting 15 goals.

Maddison Jelly and Lisa Fleming shared the roles of goal defender and keeper as Stawell’s best on court.

It was a tough day overall for Stawell’s senior netball teams, with Warrack claiming wins in the B and C Grade divisions.

Despite no senior success on the day, Stawell’s juniors stood up to win both games.

The under 15 Warriors side, featuring two Stawell A Grade players, fought hard for a 36-27 win.

Dakota Cosson, who plays under 15’s and A Grade, scored 21 goals, with Zoe Mcgregor best on court.

The under 13 team also won.

The Warriors under 17 side had a bye, with Warrack having no under 17 team.
