Bibby’s side dropped their opening game in the World Cup to Japan, 66-61.
Bibby made an impact early in the contest but Japan was well drilled defensively.
After Australia’s loss to Japan, Bibby’s side showed it is a force to be reckoned with when it defeated Mexico 109-34.
Bibby was one of the Gems’ best performers, recording 16 points – the second highest in both the team and the game, including a three-pointer. She also collected six rebounds.
Mexico couldn’t contain the free-scoring Gems.
The Gems were taking on Hungry at 10pm on Tuesday in the final game of the group stage.
The round of 16 begins on Wednesday.
