56 players turned out on Friday for the stableford event, with numbers dropping to 18 on Saturday and 30 on Sunday. 

Wallaloo golf captain Rod Reading said it was a nice weekend despite the lower turnout.

“The course was in great condition and the weather was kind to us,” he said.

“Everyone enjoyed themselves even though we were a bit down on numbers.”

Anthony Croft and Sam Reading won the men’s four ball best ball stableford on Friday, scoring 44 points to win by one point. 

Megan Ashton and Kerrie Duxson won the ladies competition, also by one point. 

Mal Cameron won the men’s division one scratch event, shooting 79.

Kaye Ellen won the ladies side with a scratch score of 95. 

Sam Reading and Megan Ashton won the mixed pinehurst on Sunday, scoring 80 after a playoff decided the winner.
