Ms Owen, 83, died on May 3, 2017 and granddaughter Lisa Fulton said she was smiling until the end.
“From day one since she was in Eventide Homes she was always happy,” she said.
“There was never a sad moment and Eventide did everything the best they could so I just wanted to show my appreciation.”
Ms Fulton said the kind gesture was something her grandmother would have also done and been proud of.
“Nan was a giving person,” she said.
“She was happy every single day and this makes me feel good- it is something Nan would have done if she was alive.”
