This year they performed The Music Man Junior.
Principal Daniel Weller said the students had two performances – one on Thursday night and one on Friday night.
“The show is an adaption of the original show The Music Man, but changed into a student-friendly version,” he said.
“I have nothing but praise for the students.”
About 50 middle and senior school students performed in the show.
“They loved it,” Mr Weller said.
“We started work on the show in December last year – there were auditions and then lots of rehearsals.
“There has been a lot of effort and hard work from the students, teachers and volunteers to get to this point.”
Mr Weller said performing arts benefited students in many different ways.
“It allows them to express ideas, thoughts and opinions through their interpretation of the show,” he said.
“Performing arts also helps with the development of children.
“It is a great expression of creative potential.”
