Swifts have dropped to eighth on the Horsham District Netball League ladder after going down to Natimuk United by 21 goals on Saturday.

The Baggies jumped out of the blocks well, leading 13-9 at quarter-time.

The Rams turned the game on its head in the second term, scoring 17 goals to go ahead by five goals at the main break.

The strong Natimuk team continued to put its foot down, breaking away easily from Swifts.

Shannon Couch scored 34 goals for the winning team, while Jade Cleary scored 19 for the Baggies.

Cleary was once again Swifts’ best, with Tara-Sky Long also playing an important role in defence.

The win was the Rams seventh for the year, while Swifts are two games outside of the top five with three wins.
